💾 NBTevo USB Coding (Firmware H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O)
If your iDrive unit is running any firmware version from NBTevo_H up to NBTevo_O, you can apply this coding directly via a USB flash drive. No cables or laptops required.
🛠️ Steps for Applying the Coding via USB
1️⃣ Prepare the USB Drive
Download the custom coding file that we send you and copy it to a USB Stick (4GB, 8GB, or 16GB) formatted strictly to FAT32.

2️⃣ Connect to the Vehicle
Plug the USB stick into your car’s USB port and wait for 30 seconds.

3️⃣ Reboot the iDrive System
Remove the USB stick from the port, then long-press the radio volume button for 20–30 seconds until the center screen goes blank and the unit reboots.

4️⃣ Execution & Completion
Wait another 30 seconds after the reboot. The custom coding process will initialize automatically. 🎉 Feature activated successfully!

⚠️ Firmware Versions NBTevo_P to X:
Please note that for newer firmware versions (NBTevo_P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X), USB coding is physically blocked by BMW. You cannot use the USB method for these versions (cable activation required).
